I never knew the New York Times has a free writing curriculum for young writers. Just sent to me today, their "eight writing units, each with its own practical step-by-step guide, are based on real-world features like reviews, photo essays, narratives, podcasts and more." As many of you know, I started a Substack newsletter back in March of this year and it's been one of the most gratifying experiences I've ever had as a writer. I enjoy the community over on Substack so much I've thought about moving my blog over there and just turning this into a static webpage. One reason I like it so much is because I can do video, podcast and blog over there in one feed. The community is vibrant. There are too many social platforms now, in my opinion.
